// what it costs
What a website actually costs.
Most agencies make you ask. These are our floors — the least a build of each kind costs, published so you can work out where you sit before you pick up the phone.
// four doors
Start at the rung that fits.
Each price is a floor, not an estimate — the least that kind of build costs. We confirm the exact figure in writing before any work starts, and it doesn’t move unless you change the scope.

// pay monthly
Rather not find it in one go?
Not every business has a lump sum sitting there. The monthly option rolls the build, the hosting and the looking-after into one payment for twelve months.
It is a service, not a loan. There is no finance company, no interest and nothing to be approved for — we build the site, host it and look after it, and it becomes yours at the end of the term.
- 12 monthly payments, then the term ends
- No interest, no fees, no finance company
- Hosting and a care plan included for the term
- The site transfers to you when the term completes
- Stop paying and the site comes down — that’s the trade for no deposit
Flexible by design
Priced around what you actually need.
We don’t publish one monthly rate, because there isn’t one — a five-page site and a shop are different jobs, and pretending otherwise just means somebody pays for someone else’s build.
Tell us what you need. We work the monthly figure out from your build, including the hosting and the looking-after, and put it in writing before you commit to anything.
// how payment works
No surprises at the end.
The number we agree is the number you pay. Everything below is written into the contract of works before anything starts.
Paying in stages
50 / 25 / 25 — half to book the work in, a quarter when you sign off the design, the balance when it goes live.
25 / 25 / 25 / 25 — if half up front is too much, we split it into four equal stages instead. Just say so; it costs no more.
What the price holds
- A fixed figure, agreed in writing before we start
- Two rounds of revisions at each stage
- Changes outside that scope quoted before they happen
- The finished site is yours once the final payment clears
A round is one consolidated set of feedback, not changes sent piece by piece. Further rounds are billed at the hourly rate.
// after it goes live
Looking after it is optional. We’d recommend it.
A WordPress site left alone breaks eventually — plugins go stale, things drift, and the first you hear of it is a customer telling you.
Our care plans cover the updates, the off-site backups, the monitoring and the security work, from £50 a month. They are not compulsory and the site is yours either way — but they are the difference between a site that keeps working and one that quietly stops.
Anything outside a plan is £50.00/hour, billed in 15-minute blocks, quoted before we do it.
// questions
The things people ask before committing
Is the price on this page what I’ll actually pay?
It is the floor for that kind of build, not a quote. We look at what you need, then give you one fixed figure in writing. That figure doesn’t move unless you ask for something outside what we agreed.
What pushes the price up?
Page count, anything custom that has to be built rather than configured, selling online, and content — if you want the words and photography produced for you rather than supplying them, that is quoted on top.
Do you write the content?
On Starter you supply the words and images. On Business and above we help with the structure and tell you what each page needs to say. Full copywriting is a separate quote.
Can I really pay monthly?
Yes — twelve monthly payments with no interest and no finance company involved. It works as a service rather than a loan: we build, host and look after the site, and it becomes yours when the term completes. The monthly figure depends on the build, so we work it out with you and put it in writing.
I already have a site. Where do I fit?
Usually the day rate, if it is a fix or a rework, or Business if it is a rebuild. Tell us the URL and we’ll say which and why.
Tell us what you need and we’ll price it properly.
A short call, a look at what you’ve got, and a fixed figure in writing. If we’re the wrong fit we’ll say so.
